Universal Precautions
We developed our neurological instrument with nationally-accepted standards for healthcare providers regarding blood borne pathogens (BBPs) and other potentially infectious materials in mind. Each of the Neuro 7's retractable diagnostic neurosensory testing tools is manufactured in stainless steel. The plastic diagnostic pinwheel is removable and can be replaced after each use. Monofilaments are also disposable.
We also recognize that many healthcare organizations have adopted BBP standards requiring that all sharp instruments be single-use only (disposable). To meet these requirements, we also developed a Disposable Sharp Tip that covers the sharp tool and allows hands-free removal when the sharp tool is retracted. Our disposables can be purchased individually or in our convenient Disposables Combo Pack. Each of our disposable accessories can be quickly replaced after each patient encounter, helping to prevent cross-contamination.
